If you have any question about how we handle your data, write to the email address above.
Because we are established in Germany, we comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR). For visitors in the United Kingdom, the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 also apply. In this policy, “GDPR” refers to both.
2. When you visit this website
Every time you open a page, your browser automatically sends information to our server. Our hosting provider stores it in server log files:
- your IP address
- date and time of the request
- the page or file requested
- the website you came from (referrer)
- browser type and version, and operating system
- amount of data transferred and the status of the request
We use this data only to deliver the website, keep it secure and fix technical problems. We do not combine it with other data and do not use it to identify you.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention: log files are deleted after a short period, unless we need them to investigate a specific security incident.
Hosting: this website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM (Neue Medien Münnich GmbH) in Germany, which processes this data on our behalf as a processor under a data processing agreement (Article 28 GDPR).
3. Contact form and email
If you use our contact form or email us, we process the details you give us: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the topic you choose and your message. The contact form sends your enquiry by email to service@neowax.com.
We use these details only to answer your enquiry and any follow-up questions. Fields marked with an asterisk are required because we cannot reply without them.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or to steps before entering into one (for example a trade or retail enquiry); otherwise our legitimate interest in answering messages sent to us (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention: we delete your enquiry once it has been dealt with. Where correspondence has to be kept under German commercial or tax law, we keep it for the statutory periods (generally six or ten years) and use it for no other purpose.
Your enquiry is processed on our hosting provider’s servers and stored in our mailbox, which is also hosted by ALL-INKL.COM in Germany. We do not pass it to anyone else unless the law requires us to.
4. Cookies and tracking
This website does not use cookies. We do not use analytics tools, advertising networks, social media plugins or any other tracking technology, and we do not store anything in your browser. That is why there is no cookie banner: under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) there is nothing to ask your consent for.
5. Fonts, images and videos
All fonts, images, videos, stylesheets and scripts on this website are stored on our own server. When you view our pages, your browser does not connect to Google Fonts, content delivery networks or any other third party.
6. Links to other websites
Our pages link to other websites, in particular to our official UK stockist Seriously Lotus, where you can order NEOWAX products online. No data is passed to these websites until you click a link. When you order at Seriously Lotus, Seriously Lotus is responsible for your order data and its own privacy policy applies.
